Webinar on 30 April at 16:00: Safeguarding Public Transport Commuters during Covid-19

With already more than 200 000 deaths and 3 million infections globally, Covid-19 clearly demands extreme measures. “Social Distancing” is the new mantra to mitigate the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

How does a Public Transport operator protect staff and commuters alike?

As lockdown restrictions are being eased in accordance with South Africa’s Risk Management Model, more people – other than the current number of health care and essential workers – will require public transport. To facilitate  South Africa’s gradual opening of economic sectors, public transport services are returning to service.

In partnership with the Gautrain Management Agency this webinar will present a case study on Gautrain’s measures to keep its staff and its commuters safe as it returns to service.

Date: Thursday 30 April 2020 at 1`6:00

Presenter: Tshepo Kgobe, Acting COO Gautrain Management Agency
